I ran the marathon and didn't think the temps were hot or the least bit warm at anytime on the course. On the decent, I ran through cool temps and rain from No Name to the finish. I live and train in Oklahoma and often ran in temps of 90+ with equal amounts of humidity. It' all relative to where one lives I guess. I get all the heat/humidity with no elevation. :)
By the way, I CANNOT wait until next year. PPA & PPM is the best race in America, has the best volunteers, and is the BEST well organized race I've ever ran. Kudos to all involved.

John Nelson, I'm glad to know I'm not alone with my withdrawal from the Marathon Sunday, ending my third Double...for now!
Yes, even with the best training I've ever done and feeling more solid than ever, the mountain always teaches me something.
Next time... :)
